My name is Anthony Winson and I'm a 34 year old independent filmmaker.
My brother introduced me to the world of horror cinema from a young age.

I have a lot to thank him for, as some of my earliest memories are of sitting and enjoying Horror films with him, such as A Nightmare On Elm Street, Child's Play and The Amityville Horror. ​

​ As I became older my passion for all things movie related grew as i wanted to start creating films myself.
I have to give a big thank you to my dad as he has always allowed me to use his video camera to create my movies, Also my family and friends support me and provide feedback on my films which really helps me work towards achieving my goal.

Another person in my family I'd like to mention is my Granddad, he who always tells me his favourite past times were working as a movie projectionist and I share a lot of my love for movies with him which I always look forward to talking about when I visit.

​ My biggest influences in the movie industry have to be the masters of horror John Carpenter and Wes Craven, who have created two of the biggest horror icons in cinema history (Micheal Myers and Freddy Krueger). If it wasn't for people like John Carpenter, Wes Craven, Tobe Hooper or (going back even further) Tod Browing who directed Dracula 1931, we wouldn't have these movies which we have all come to know and love today.
